Play & Wellness Programs
Tournaments:
Organized tournaments for popular sports (e.g., flag football) that create an environment for players to connect and build relationships. We call it: “PLAYgrams!”

Therapeutic Sports Workshops:
Sessions where trained facilitators integrate mental health discussions, mindfulness techniques, and stress-relief exercises alongside physical activity (e.g., yoga). We call it: "TheraPLAY!"

Inclusive Fitness Classes:
Fitness programs are aimed at individuals of all ability levels, with a focus on building self-esteem, reducing anxiety, and promoting overall mental wellness through physical exercise. We call it “PLAYcercise!”

Team-Building and Peer Support:
Structured team-building activities that encourage collaboration, trust, and open communication within the teams, providing emotional support for participants. We call it “TeamPLAY!”

Pre-Game Mental Health Talks:
Before each event or game, a mental health professional or facilitator will provide short, engaging talks on various mental health topics.

Peer Support Networks:
Establishing peer groups for participants to share their experiences and provide mutual support.

Online Resources and Pop-Up Playshops:
Virtual mental health workshops and resources, offering information and coping strategies to improve mental well-being.
Community Events:
Mental health-focused festivals and fundraisers that encourage broader community engagement and provide a platform for open dialogue.

​Our programs are scalable and adaptable to different community needs, including schools, recreational centers, and private coaching.

PLAY DNA will start with local communities in Rye Brook and Port Chester with a scaling plan for expansion to neighboring cities and regions.
